Job description
Senior Field LeaderA well-established concrete contractor near Lincoln is looking for a senior field leader who knows concrete deeply, can lead crews, and can gradually take significant ownership of day-to-day field operations. The company primarily handles residential concrete, along with agricultural and select commercial work.Why This Role• Work directly with the owner• Lead multiple jobs and develop Foremen/crews• Improve scheduling, communication, and field systems• Extensive leadership coaching during onboarding and the first year• Long-term growth into greater operational responsibilityWhat Matters Most• Strong practical concrete knowledge and hands-on field experience• Proven crew/Foreman/Superintendent leadership• Ability to coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, pours, schedules, quality, and customers• Ability to make independent field decisions and solve problems• Respectful leadership style and desire to develop people• Spanish is a strong plus, but is not requiredCompensation• Base salary: $95,000-$100,000• Performance bonus: $10,000-$20,000• Long-term earning potential: $120,000-$140,000+• Company vehicle and fuel• Company phone• Paid vacation and holidays• Paid lodging plus $75/day per diem for overnight travel• Extensive leadership coaching and professional development throughout onboarding and the first yearTravelProjects are generally within approximately a 300-350-mile radius of Lincoln. Overnight travel is required when projects are outside the local area. Lodging is paid, a $75 daily per diem is provided, and most weekends are spent at home.Strong Concrete Foremen who are ready to step up are encouraged to apply; the exact title matters less than concrete depth, leadership ability, and readiness for greater responsibility.
