About the Role
Orbital Corporation is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wiring Harness Assembler to join our growing team in Zephyrhills, FL. This is a hands-on role where your precision and craftsmanship directly contribute to the quality and performance of our products. Responsibilities
Assemble wiring harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions
Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires to specified lengths and configurations
Solder connections and install connectors, terminals, and other components
Inspect completed assemblies for quality, continuity, and compliance with specifications
Use hand tools, crimping tools, and test equipment to complete assemblies
Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or production issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with company standards
Requirements
Prior experience in wiring harness assembly, cable assembly, or electrical manufacturing preferred
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings
Proficiency with hand tools, crimping tools, and soldering equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
