Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing construction services organization, is seeking a Construction Accountant to join its team in the Savannah, GA area. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company with deep roots in the industry and a strong presence across the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage job cost accounting and project-related financial reporting
Track project budgets, subcontractor billings, and cost allocations
Reconcile accounts, analyze variances, and support month-end close
Partner with operations and project teams to ensure financial accuracy
Assist with WIP reporting, contract review, and revenue recognition
Monitor AP/AR activity related to construction projects
Support audit preparation and maintain organized financial documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field REQUIRED
4-8 years of accounting experience, (construction/project-based industry experience is REQUIRED)
Experience with job costing, WIP schedules, and construction billing
Strong Excel skills and comfort working within ERP/accounting systems
