Job Description:
Civil-Construction prepares and grades sites for construction projects, operates heavy equipment, interprets plans and drawings, supports infrastructure builds, ensures safety and environmental compliance, coordinates with project teams, and maintains construction equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
The construction civil team member is responsible for performing the following duties to maintain, repair, and improve plant facilities while supporting safe and efficient operations.
Follow safe work practices
Demonstrate knowledge of all phases of carpentry work, including layout, forming, blueprint reading, drywall installation, finish carpentry, door and cabinet installation, and painting
Demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation and maintenance of power tools and construction equipment
Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies
Operate heavy equipment
Job Experience:
The individual should possess the following education, experience, and technical qualifications to effectively perform the responsibilities of this position:
Required skills, experience, and/or education
Outstanding safety and attendance record •
Flexibility with working overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to multi-task
Detail orientation
High school diploma or equivalent
Desired skills, experience, and/or education
Operate equipment such as excavator, dozer, dump truck, and forklift
5 years’ experience working in high-volume manufacturing environment
