About the Position: This position is in Southern California Area Office, Vandenberg AFB Resident Office located at Vandenberg AFB, Santa Barbara, California. Serves as Senior Construction Control Representative and Contracting Officers Representative(COR) for job site construction control of contract work for assigned military construction, civil works,or Work for Others (WFO) construction programs. This is a(n) Engineers and Scientist Career Program position aligned under the Construction, Analysis, Science, Infrastructure & Engineers (CASIE) Career Management Directorate. Additional COE: Work involves using numerous special safety precautions, climbing mountains, wearing personnel protective clothing (non-breathing HazMat suits), respirators, using man-lifts, stooping, bending, climbing, roofs, crawling under buildings and in conduit, confined spaces, high voltage areas, andother contaminated areas. Exposures to hazardous wastes, asbestos, dust, tunnel work, and gases occur frequently.
