We are currently looking for a Crane Operator in Hillsborough, NJ. A well-established civil construction company is looking for experienced, dedicated, and safety-focused individuals to join their team and support heavy civil construction projects while earning a highly competitive compensation package.

Monday - Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm
Competitive Compensation Offered!
$61.63/hr.
$42.45/hr. Fringe Benefit
$104.08/hr. Total Package Rate
Crane Operator Responsibilities:
Safely operate various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy materials, equipment, and structural components.
Perform crane operations in support of heavy civil construction projects while following lift plans, site requirements, and established safety procedures.
Work closely with riggers, signalpersons, laborers, and project supervision to safely and efficiently complete lifting operations.
Conduct pre-operation inspections and monitor crane equipment, load capacities, rigging, and jobsite conditions.
Maintain clear communication with the ground crew and immediately report equipment issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions.
Crane Operator Qualifications:
Previous experience operating cranes in a construction or heavy civil environment.
Knowledge of safe crane operation, load handling, rigging, and signaling procedures.
Ability to safely assess loads, equipment capacity, site conditions, and potential hazards.
Strong hand-eye coordination, depth perception, attention to detail, and mechanical awareness.
Ability to follow lift plans, safety procedures, and instructions accurately.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around active construction equipment.
Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
