Job description
Construction Laborer - Telluride, CO
Location: Telluride, CO
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 10-hour shifts
Position Overview
We are seeking hardworking and dependable Construction Laborers to support residential and commercial construction projects in the Telluride area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established general contractor offering long-term, stable work (2+ years) in a unique mountain environment.
Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation, demolition, cleanup, and material handling.
Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Support carpenters, equipment operators, and other skilled trades as directed.
Perform basic construction tasks, including digging, grading, framing support, and concrete work assistance.
Set up and remove temporary work areas, fencing, and safety barriers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
Assist with traffic control, snow removal, and jobsite weather protection as needed.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support project success.
Qualifications
Required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environment.
Preferred
Previous construction, landscaping, or general labor experience.
Experience on residential or commercial construction projects.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain).
Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
Work on uneven terrain, ladders, and scaffolding when required.
Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions and high-altitude environments.
Comfort working in mountain conditions, including snow, rain, cold temperatures, and direct sun exposure.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
