Responsibilities

Monitor project progress against schedule and proactively address delays or resource constraints

Maintain strong oversight of safety programs, contractor compliance, and site-specific requirements

Support QA/QC activities, inspections, punch lists, commissioning preparation, and project closeout

Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, equipment movement, access, staging, and contractor activities

Review contractor progress and support validation of completed work

Maintain accurate field documentation, daily reports, progress updates, and construction records

Identify opportunities to improve constructability, productivity, cost, and project execution

Build productive relationships with contractors, engineering teams, operations personnel, and project leadership

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive construction experience, preferably within renewable energy, power generation, industrial construction, utilities, or other large-scale infrastructure environments

Demonstrated experience managing contractors and construction activities in the field

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, safety, quality, and field coordination

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

Experience coordinating civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and/or utility scopes

Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and contractor management

Experience with renewable energy projects such as solar, battery energy storage (BESS), geothermal, wind, or related power infrastructure is highly desirable

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely field decisions

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Comfortable working in an active construction environment and spending significant time in the field

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered

Ideal Background
