Qualifications/Responsibilities:
Experience in Commercial Construction as Project Manager
College degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management OR demonstrated competence in the industry
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Plan Grid, Microsoft Project and typical Project Management software
Preferred knowledge of CMIC project management, BIM and Primavera Scheduling software a plus
Review all submittals and shop drawings for compliance with Contract documents
Knowledge of OSHA requirements and ability to enforce them
Ability to create and manage project schedules and critical path activities
Strong communication skills to define and solve problems as well as develop a team atmosphere with the Subcontractors, Designers and Client Representatives
Review and maintain project budgets including regular job cost forecasting
Preparation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders including detailed scope of work narratives
Head project coordination meetings with the client and designers in a productive manner
Assist preconstruction and estimating staff with operational input and logistics
Knowledge of MEP systems, Building Commissioning and closeout
Ability to review water tightness details and general quality control management
Create and track progress on Punch Lists, As-Builts and O&M documents
Ability to pass drug screening and background experience
