Construction Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA (national travel required)
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 + benefit
Our client is an award winning, family owned general contractor, specializing in commercial interior projects in hospitality, retail, restaurants and healthcare.
They are on the lookout for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The right candidate MUST have commercial interior experience!
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and internal teams.
Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
Manage project budgets, commitments, invoices, and financial reporting.
Manage change orders and assist with contract negotiations.
Ensure projects comply with company safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the construction process.
Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
Travel nationally to project sites as required.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably with an interior construction focus.
Previous experience managing commercial interior build-outs, renovations, or similar projects.
Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, scheduling, and project financials.
Experience managing subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout.
Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Ability and willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis .
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
