Job description
Heavy Civil Construction
Looking for Construction Project Manager experience managing heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and overall project execution. Experience in heavy civil construction is strongly preferred.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent construction experience)
4–6 years of project management experience in construction or heavy civil environments
Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and financial performance
Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations
Strong knowledge of construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and permits
Technically, this candidate should be proficient in:
Construction project scheduling and coordination
Budget management and project cost control
Construction documentation management
Contract administration
Procurement of materials and subcontractors
Change order management
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob (preferred)
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
