ProSidian clients represent a broad spectrum of industries to include but are not limited to Energy, Manufacturing, Chemical, Retail, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Hospitality, Pharmaceuticals, Banking & Financial Services, Transportation, Federal and State Government Agencies.ProSidian Seeks a Construction Safety Technician (Night Shift) - Construction (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation (SRR)) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre to fulfil T&M - Time and Materials requirements.Construction Safety Technician (Night Shift) CO 113 provides field support for the construction safety program to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, Local and/or company safety and health regulations/requirements.Construction Safety Technician (Night Shift) - Construction Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS: - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services andPerform field safety evaluations and inspections.Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and company requirements.Investigate safety events and develop reports.Conduct safety briefing and presentations.The Construction Safety Technician (Night Shift) - Construction shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.All candidates shall have 2+ years' experience in safety and construction related fields, providing safety oversight and safety program implementation.Intermediate computer skills including: e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. requisite work experience and technical skills (on-the-job training) to fulfill the roles and responsibilities or postsecondary education, such as an associate's degree or certificate. Technicians must have at least a high school diploma. Certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification ideal. The CHST is designed for individuals who demonstrate competency and work part-time or full-time in health and safety activities devoted to the prevention of construction illnesses and injuries. Completion of OSHA 510 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry.Prior Savannah River Site experiencePrior Savannah River Remediation experience The position as a night shift position Wednesday through Saturday 4:30pm to 3:00am. However, alternate schedules could be employed.40-hour workweek, 10 hours per day.Workweek may vary from 30 to 50 hours per week based on project needs.Overtime up to 25% of normal work schedules may be required. Candidate must be a .Candidates must possess a valid driver's licensePersonal vehicles operated by candidate must have valid registrationPersonal vehicles operated by candidate must be insured with proof of insurance within the vehicleU.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States CitizenExcellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a "Facility Access Authorization" (also referred to as an "Employment Authorization") by the USG's designated Security Office.Other Requirements and Conditions of Employment ApplyMay be required to complete a Financial Disclosure StatementMust be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, as allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
