Construction & Service TechnicianPacific West Construction and Maintenance (Pac-West) is hiring a Construction & Service Technician to join our team. We provide full-service maintenance and construction for multifamily, residential, and commercial properties throughout the greater Seattle area.If you're a versatile tradesperson who enjoys variety in your workday and taking ownership of projects from start to finish, we'd like to talk with you.ResponsibilitiesComplete service work orders and small projects for apartments and commercial propertiesPerform general construction and maintenance tasks, including:Interior/exterior paintingFlooring and carpet installation/repairsDrywall hanging, taping, and patchingLight framing and carpentry (doors, trim, cabinets, repairs)Roofing repairs and leak mitigationBasic plumbing (fixtures, drains, minor repairs)Basic electrical (switches, outlets, light fixtures, troubleshooting)Order and install appliancesUnit clean out/turnsDiagnose issues, propose solutions, and complete work to spec and codeCommunicate professionally with tenants, property managers, and coworkersMaintain clean, safe jobsites and follow company safety proceduresDocument work performed and materials usedRequirements2+ years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a related trade roleSolid skills in several of the following: painting, flooring, drywall, carpentry, roofing, basic plumbing and electrical and/or willingness to be trainedReliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of insuranceOwn a basic set of hand and power toolsAuthorized to work in the United StatesAbility to pass a criminal background checkAble to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, roofs, and in confined spacesWe OfferCompetitive compensation (DOE)Fuel and phone allowancePaid time offMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceStable, year-round work with a locally owned companySupportive team atmosphere and opportunity to grow your skillsPacific West is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
