Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a Construction Services Supervisor in our Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia office locations.
Responsibilities
Managing and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality
Leading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures
Conducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skills
Assisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning
Providing project management and supervision for CEI projects
Managing business development opportunities and client relationships
Ensuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followed
A valid driver’s license and travel will be required.
Required Qualifications
Option 1:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience
Option 2:
Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
Option 3:
No degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications
PE license in MD, DC or VA
Ten (10) years of industry-related experience
Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
Experience supervising and mentoring staff
Experience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change orders
Experience with cost estimates and project scheduling
Experience preparing proposals and managing contracts

Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.
