Construction Warehouse SupervisorThe Warehouse Supervisor oversees warehouse operations supporting our commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, piping, BAS and mechanical construction projects. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for tool tracking, fleet coordination, shipping & receiving, material & tool deliveries, supervising warehouse personnel, oversight of inventory control and material management, and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.This position plays a critical role in ensuring field personnel have the materials, tools, and equipment needed to execute projects safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsSupervise warehouse personnel and delivery drivers.Maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse facilities.Develop and enforce warehouse procedures and best practices.Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.Logistics & Fleet CoordinationSchedule deliveries to jobsites.Coordinate loading and unloading of company vehicles.Assist with fleet maintenance scheduling.Optimize warehouse and delivery operations for efficiency.Tool & Equipment ManagementTrack and maintain company-owned tools and equipment.Coordinate tool issuance and returns for field personnel.Schedule maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.Monitor equipment utilization and replacement needs.Purchasing SupportSupervise the Material Expeditor to ensure timely procurement of materials requested by Operations.Oversee the creation and processing of purchase orders.Monitor material orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timely receipt.Inventory & Material ManagementCoordinate material deliveries to job sitesOversight of inventory levels of construction materials, HVAC equipment, piping, fittings, valves, sheet metal, consumables, and supplies.Work with Material Expeditor and Project Supervisors to coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of project materials.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum 5-7 years of warehouse management experience.Experience in mechanical contracting, construction, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial supply distribution.Experience with purchasing and inventory management software and Microsoft Office.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.PreferredAssociate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.Minimum 7+ years of warehouse management experience.Proficiency with job cost, purchasing and inventory management ERP systems.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.Excellent supervision, communication and leadership abilities.Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical construction materials.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse conditions.Salary: $50,000–$62,000 annually, based on experience
