WHAT YOU'LL DO
As our Foundation Repair Technician, you will be responsible for supporting commercial & residential foundation repair, soil stabilization, or concrete lifting & leveling projects. Career advancement is available. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to communicate, work hard, and collaborate.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform general construction work, using hand tools, and lifting materials as directed by the site supervisor; Construction work may include any of the following: crawlspace work, outside drilling, pile drilling, machinery operation, or concrete work
* Understand project schedules, assume additional responsibilities, and work overtime hours as needed to meet project deadlines
* Work cohesively with team members to exceed client expectations, ensuring a positive work environment
* Maintain equipment daily to ensure it functions properly and safely
* Align the work with Helicon's culture and strategic goals — Stay True, Communicate Clearly, Forecast Needs + Outperform
* Work with the team on mutually agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* High School diploma, GED or equivalent
* At least one year of experience in construction general labor and/ or outdoor work for long hours
* Reliable transportation, valid FL driver's license, and a clean driving record
* The ability to be coached and mentored and collaborate within a team environment

WORK SCHEDULE:
* Varies; will require flexible schedule, with occasional weekends and holidays
* Local day travel is required
* Position requires regular overtime
* Occasional week-long projects out of town (stipend by the company)

* Work near or with moving mechanical parts - Frequently
* Outdoor weather conditions - Frequently
* Moderate-Loud Noise
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Must be able to lift/carry/push or pull up to 50 pounds
* Must be able to hear equipment operating, alarms sounding, traffic, telephones
* Ability to see clearly at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less and at 20 feet/6 meters or more
Compensation details: 16-19 Hourly Wage
