Job description

Facilities & Construction Manager

Centurion Restaurant Group | Full-Time | South Florida Based | Up to 30% Travel

Centurion Restaurant Group is looking for an experienced Facilities & Construction Manager to oversee the ongoing maintenance, functionality, and physical condition of our restaurant portfolio, while also supporting renovations, capital improvements, and construction projects as they arise.

This role sits at the intersection of facilities, restaurant operations, and project management. Your primary focus will be making sure our restaurants remain operational, well-maintained, and supported—from preventative maintenance and vendor management to troubleshooting urgent facility and equipment issues.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, stays ahead of potential problems, and understands that in restaurant operations, a facility issue can quickly become an operational issue. You'll also bring the project management experience needed to lead larger repairs, renovations, CAPEX projects, and future restaurant openings.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll take the lead on facilities management and preventative maintenance across our locations, while overseeing construction and capital projects as business needs arise.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing ongoing facility maintenance and repair needs across multiple restaurant locations

Partnering with restaurant leadership to identify facility concerns, prioritize repairs, and minimize disruption to operations

Developing and maintaining strong preventative maintenance programs for restaurant equipment and building systems

Conducting regular facility assessments and proactively identifying maintenance, repair, and capital needs

Managing service vendors and contractors, ensuring responsiveness, quality, competitive pricing, and completion of work

Troubleshooting recurring facility and equipment issues and driving long-term solutions

Maintaining accurate vendor, equipment, warranty, service, and preventative maintenance information across locations

Monitoring key restaurant systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exhaust/hood systems, Ansul/fire suppression, grease systems, and fire/life safety

Ensuring required maintenance, servicing, and inspections are completed according to applicable regulations and manufacturer requirements

Evaluating repair versus replacement needs and helping prioritize capital expenditures

Leading approved CAPEX projects, major repairs, renovations, and remodels from planning through completion

Managing new restaurant construction and openings as opportunities arise

Coordinating architects, general contractors, landlords, vendors, permitting, inspections, FF&E, schedules, budgets, and project deadlines

Identifying potential project challenges early and driving solutions through completion

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a strong facilities management background who understands the demands of keeping multiple restaurant locations operational and has the project management experience to successfully oversee larger renovations and construction initiatives.

Ideally, you bring:

Multi-unit facilities management experience, preferably within restaurants, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced commercial environment

Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and commercial building systems

Working knowledge of restaurant systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exhaust/hood systems, Ansul/fire suppression, grease systems, and fire/life safety

Experience managing service vendors, contractors, repairs, and ongoing maintenance programs

Construction or project management experience involving renovations, remodels, CAPEX, or commercial construction

Experience with permitting, plan review, inspections, contractor management, and FF&E

The ability to manage multiple locations, vendors, priorities, and projects simultaneously

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly when a facility issue impacts restaurant operations

Strong follow-through and the ability to hold vendors and contractors accountable

Clear, confident communication with restaurant leadership, internal teams, and external partners

Must be based in South Florida

Ability to travel up to 30% based on business and project needs

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
