Job Title: Supply Chain Manager/Consultant – Medical Device
Employment Type: Contract (Fractional)
Location: White Plains, NY (Hybrid – initial onsite required)
6-month contract (fractional – ~15 hours/week)
Hybrid role – initial onsite presence required
Prefer candidates within driving distance of White Plains, NY
Overview
A growing medical device manufacturer is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations in a regulated environment. This role will focus on inventory control, traceability, and cost optimization , while ensuring compliance with FDA and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end supply chain: procurement, planning, inventory, and distribution
Ensure product traceability (UDI, lot/batch tracking) and regulatory compliance
Optimize inventory control processes to improve accuracy and reduce waste
Partner with Finance on standard costing, variance analysis, and cost reduction
Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and R&D teams
Develop KPIs and dashboards to track supply chain performance
Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and quality systems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)
5–10+ years of supply chain experience in medical device or life sciences
Strong expertise in traceability (UDI, lot/batch control)
Experience with inventory systems and ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Knowledge of standard costing and cost optimization
Familiarity with FDA/QSR and ISO 13485
Preferred
APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP)
Experience in MedTech startups or scaling operations
