The Consulting Analyst is responsible for contributing directly to a superior client experience while working closely with Investment Consultants through thoughtful and accurate analysis of the firm's Endowment & Foundation and Defined Benefit Plan client portfolios, aligning with our mission of helping clients prosper.

Responsibilities:

Proactively lead portfolio evaluation/diagnostic review effort for new clients, cross-collaborating with multiple teams at the firm

Evaluate and construct investment policy statements consistent with clients' investment objectives, risk tolerance, and investment restrictions

Analyze asset allocation structure of client portfolios, including modeling and portfolio optimization analysis, leveraging approved analytical and AIenabled tools to enhance efficiency and analytical consistency.

Collaborate with Investment Research in developing solutions for client portfolios

Develop fiduciary governance materials in preparation for quarterly reporting

Analyze and create customized components for client reports and supplemental meeting materials, utilizing approved AI tools to assist with drafting, summarization, and quality control.

Analyze and develop trade recommendations to implement investment decisions, portfolio reallocations, or rebalancing, consistent with the firm's risk management protocol and in compliance with client investment policy guidelines and firm-established policy and procedures. Closely monitor and respond to ongoing recurrent or ad hoc cash management needs in client portfolios

Collaborate with Performance Analytics and Client Services in developing optimal reporting solutions for clients

Issue and evaluate vendor RFIs and RFPs, using AIenabled tools to support data extraction, comparison, and synthesis while exercising independent judgment in all conclusions.

Respond to periodic audit requests for investment-related data and analysis

Conduct special ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed to support Investment Consultants

Interact with and proactively communicate with Investment Consultants on all client matters and related projects

Apply AI tools to support drafting, summarization, reconciliation, and qualitycontrol of analytical outputs (e.g., IPS drafts, trade rationales, governance materials), ensuring all final deliverables are reviewed and validated by the analyst.

Attend and present at client meetings in a supporting role on occasion

Respond to all meeting follow-up and action items in a timely and effective manner

Maintain accurate client account and investment records in the CRM

Respond to client and vendor requests in a timely and effective manner

Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience

Bachelor's degree required with a preferred concentration in Economics or Finance

Two (2) to five (5) years of investment consulting or investment-related work experience

Experience with servicing Institutional clients in a Discretionary Outsourced CIO ("OCIO") servicing framework is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Previous experience with CRM, custody portals, and asset allocation modeling software is a plus

Familiarity with AIenabled productivity or analytical tools (e.g., Copilot, large language model-based assistants, automation tools, or analytical copilots) to support research, drafting, reconciliation, summarization, or quality control of analytical outputs.

Ability to critically review, validate, and refine AIassisted outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with fiduciary and firm standards.

CFA candidate is a plus

Knowledge of capital markets, including domestic and foreign equity, fixed income, and alternative investments

Intellectual curiosity about investments, asset allocation, and portfolio structure

Fundamental knowledge of retirement plans (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution) and nonprofit client marketplaces

Work Environment & Travel Requirements

This role may travel up to 10% of the time for training and or business/events.

This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$87,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
