This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to member satisfaction and financial empowerment.Key Responsibilities:Review and process consumer loan applications, in an efficient manner, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurateEvaluate and verify borrower information, credit reports, and supporting documentsPrepare and submit loan packages for approval, adhering to credit union policies and proceduresProcess home equity loan applications, including documentation review and compliance checksCommunicate with members when needed to gather additional information and provide updates on application statusMaintain accurate records of all loan transactions and ensure timely processingCollaborate with sales and underwriting when needed to facilitate efficient smooth loan approval and funding processesStay informed about lending policies, regulations, and best practices to ensure complianceSkills and Qualifications:Previous experience in consumer lending and home equity loan processing preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of lending regulations and compliance standardsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with loan processing software and Microsoft Office SuiteHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in finance or related field is a plusOur credit union values a culture of growth, integrity, and member focus.
