Job Overview
Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract AP Specialist on behalf of our client, a Hospitality company. This role will support the accounts payable function by ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining organized financial records and strong relationships with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper approval.
Enter and maintain accounts payable information in financial systems.
Assist with invoice matching, coding, and payment processing.
Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation.
Assist with month-end close and reporting activities as needed.
Support the accounting team with additional projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements Include
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred.
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
Certifications:
No specific certifications required.
Knowledge:
Basic accounting and accounts payable principles.
Invoice processing and payment procedures.
Vendor account reconciliation and financial recordkeeping.
General understanding of month-end accounting processes.
