Job description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Billing Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $55.00 to $80.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and maintain contract templates for use by the Sales Manager.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to review and update contract templates as needed.
Ensure contracts comply with ASC606 by coordinating reviews with Finance.
Maintain accurate billing schedules in partnership with Finance, adhering to payment terms.
Coordinate with Engineering to integrate contract details into back-end systems.
Requirements: Be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills.
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Be able to communicate with professionals at all levels.
8+ years of accounting experience.
Qualifications: Provide assistance to Sales and Customer Success teams in resolving billing discrepancies.
Oversee and determine outcomes for refunds, credits, and cancellation requests.
Conduct analyses to clarify discrepancies for Sales and Customer Success.
Maintain comprehensive records for refunds, credits, and cancellations to support reporting needs.
Support Finance with billing operations, expense reviews, and reimbursement processes, including tracking and reconciling payments.
