Contracts Manager - Generation Capital Projects
A leading utility organization is seeking a Contracts Manager to support major generation capital projects within its New Generation PMO.
This position will serve as the day-to-day commercial interface between project teams, EPC contractors, engineering, legal, and project controls organizations to ensure successful delivery of large-scale capital projects.
Responsibilities
Administer EPC and construction contracts across multiple generation projects
Support contract strategy development and execution
Manage change orders, claims, and commercial risk mitigation activities
Track contractor performance and contractual compliance
Review payment applications, milestones, and commercial obligations
Coordinate with project managers, project controls, legal, and supply chain teams
Prepare commercial correspondence, project reports, and governance updates
Support issue resolution between the owner and EPC contractors
Qualifications
10+ years of contract management, commercial management, procurement, or capital project experience
Experience with EPC or EPCM project delivery
Strong understanding of contract administration, change management, and claims
Experience supporting utility, power generation, LNG, chemical, or industrial projects
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Combined Cycle or Power Generation experience
