Contract MRI TechnologistGrainfield, KS $60 - $85 a yearProfession: Radiology Allied HealthJob Type: Full TimeTravel MRI TechnologistPay: Up To $85/Hour Shift: M - F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Length of assignment: 13 - weeks with potential to extend Start date: ASAPHousing option providedQualifications:Must have the ability to function as an MRI Technologist in performing examinations of patients of all ages to assist in the diagnosis of patient illnessClinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 1 year of MRI clinical experience requiredValid ARRT license, registered in MRICT and X-ray experience preferredResponsibilities:Executing MRI diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and skill on appropriate anatomical regions according to department procedures and protocolsLocating and recording internal elements of the body and identifying any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditionsAdjusting equipment and calming patients to eliminate test artifactsMonitoring the patient for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changesEvaluating test results for clarity and accuracyReviewing tests with peers and physicianInforming physicians of preliminary findings as requested according to department proceduresDistributing completed test results to physicians and service providersIn addition to competitive compensation and benefits packages, as a Travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to explore some of the country's most beautiful and unique landscapes.
