Physical Therapist
Hospital: Methodist Texsan Hospital
Location: San Antonio
Unit: Physical Therapy
Classification: OT or PT
Shift Detail: 8A-5P
Building/Floor/Suite information of unit: General Information
Shift/Workdays: 8A-5P
Weekend: 2 Weekend shifts a month
Call Requirements: To be discussed during interview
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs.
Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years +
Other Helpful or Misc. Information: All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy
Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing:
Start time is no later than 8:00 a.m.
Must work two weekend shifts a month will have day off during the week
Documentation system: Meditech
Floating policy: As needed
Hiring profile Requested Skill Set:
Must have:
In-Patient Rehab and/or hospital experience
Active PT License – no Temp License allowed
Procedures performed on unit:
In-patient Rehab
Occupational Therapy – neuro and ortho patient evaluations & treatments
Acute (Ortho, Tele and ICU) evaluations & treatments
Dress Code:
Scrub Color: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pant, sage green scrub jacket. White or black undershirts only
Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible
