Description:
Building/floor: ED/Building; ground floor.
378-bed hospital with service lines that include orthopedic/elective joints, neurology, vascular, and general medical/surgical.
Number of staff includes 27 Physical Therapists, 19 Occupational Therapists, and 5 Speech Therapists.
Patient ratios target 8 patients per day in Acute Care and 4 patients in Rehabilitation Unit.
Types of equipment include DMEs and exercise equipment.
EMR system used is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include therapy evaluation and treatment.
Patient screening for appropriate need for therapy services.
Performs appropriate patient discharge recommendations.
Best personality fit is a positive attitude, can adapt quickly.
Open to changes and able to roll with the punches.
Floating areas include Adult Acute Care and/or Rehabilitation Unit.
Dress code consists of olive green scrub tops and black scrub pants.
Unit guidelines/policies include HIPAA, hospital safety guidelines, and therapy care policies and protocols per APTA/AOTA guidelines.
Weekends are required.
On-calls are not required.
