Quality TechnicianWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician for a 3-month part-time contract position. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness of bearing parts used in automotive engines through thorough inspection and testing. This position offers flexible working hours post-training, allowing you to choose shift hours that best accommodate your schedule.Responsibilities:Conduct cleanliness tests on bearing parts to ensure the absence of particles or debris.Perform quality checks and visual inspections of automotive engine components.Work on the production floor to access necessary equipment for cleanliness testing.Utilize previous quality experience to identify potential issues in component cleanliness.Adhere to customer requirements for thorough inspection and quality assurance.Essential Skills:Quality testing and checksVisual inspection and quality controlAbility to read and interpret blueprintsPrevious experience in quality assurance and inspectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with cleanliness testing proceduresBackground in quality inspectionWhy Work Here?This role offers a temporary position with flexible hours, perfect for individuals needing a schedule that accommodates their personal commitments. Training will initially occur during first shift hours, starting at 7 AM, for 3-4 hours daily. Post-training, you can select your own shift hours, working between 3-5 hours each day to suit your schedule.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of Greenville, MI.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
