About TalenTier

TalenTier is a San Diego based staffing and recruiting firm providing contract staffing and direct hire services across the U.S. and Canada.

We are a customer service–first organization. We win new clients, and keep them for the long haul, by providing old-fashioned customer service: responsive communication, follow-through on every commitment, and treating every client and candidate like a partner.

Industries: manufacturing (medical device, aerospace, fabrication, food & beverage), SaaS, fintech, AEC engineering, IT, life sciences, finance

Roles we fill: Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations

How we win: old-fashioned customer service, aggressive rates, strong placement guarantees, and a lean team that moves fast

The Role

We’re hiring a scrappy, resourceful recruiter to own open job orders from intake handoff to offer. You’ll work a mix of high-volume manufacturing roles and higher-end engineering searches.

Focus 100% on recruiting — operations handles client relationships, business development, and admin

Start on contract, with a path to a permanent position

Fully remote, but you must live in the San Diego region

What You’ll Do

Source candidates creatively — LinkedIn, job boards, AI sourcing tools, referrals, trade schools, Boolean searches, cold calls, and social networks

Fill high-volume manufacturing roles quickly: assemblers, production staff, welders, machinists, and maintenance mechanics

Run targeted searches for experienced engineering talent: software, electrical, mechanical, structural, and controls engineers, plus CNC programmers and plant leadership

Screen candidates for skills, culture fit, pay expectations, and availability

Submit qualified, well-written candidate profiles that get interviews

Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and keep candidates engaged through offer and start date

Keep the ATS and pipeline notes current so the team always knows where each search stands

Hit weekly activity and submittal goals while juggling multiple job orders at once

What You Bring

3+ years of agency recruiting experience

Proven success with both high-volume hourly hiring and professional or technical searches

Comfort recruiting for manufacturing and engineering roles, and the ability to talk shop with candidates in both

A scrappy, resourceful approach — when the usual channels dry up, you find another way

Based in the San Diego region
