Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 / Per Hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (In-office)

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company specializing in products for the food industry. They operate multiple facilities across the United States and are looking for a motivated recruiting professional to support their growing hiring needs.
Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and proactive Contract Recruiter to manage recruiting activities for hourly manufacturing positions across multiple locations. This role will oversee the recruiting process from job posting and candidate screening through interview coordination and onboarding. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the recruiting process for hourly manufacturing positions, including production workers, forklift operators, maintenance technicians, and drivers.
Create and post job advertisements on Indeed and LinkedIn.
Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recruiting priorities.
Coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and collect interview feedback.
Assist with preparing offer letters and managing the offer process.
Maintain candidate records and track recruiting activity using Excel spreadsheets and applicant tracking systems.
Develop and maintain recruiting templates and documentation to streamline hiring processes.
Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks and E-Verify.
Collect, scan, and submit new hire paperwork to Payroll while maintaining confidentiality.
Support recruiting efforts across multiple manufacturing facilities.
Occasionally travel to the Gary, IN location to assist with in-person onboarding.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of recruiting experience, with strong recruiting coordination skills.
Experience with high-volume or hourly recruiting preferred.
Proficiency in LinkedIn and social media recruiting.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
