Respiratory Therapist (Contract) - Norfolk, Virginia Choose Your Own Schedule Competitive Pay
The Role This role is ideal for RTs who value:
Flexible, daytime-only work
At least 2 days per week or more
Clinical autonomy and independence
Strong relationships with patients and clinic teams
What You ll Do Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device
Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
Monitor patient safety during procedures
Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols

Qualifications Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration
Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology
Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45-minute radius)
Other Information Up to $1,200-$1,500/week; supplemental pay for years of experience, tenure with company, and region served as applicable
