Summary
About the Position: This position is located at Travis Air Force Base, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Responsibilities
Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for personal/non personal, medical services and support contracts.
Plan, prepare and coordinate contract service requirements and establishes medical and non-medical, personal and non-personal service contracts.
Responsible for purchasing/procuring new and/or one-time service requests initiated by medical group personnel.
Monitor contract and contractor performance to assure compliance with contract requirements and manages and maintains all contract records.
Perform thorough market research, develops realistic government cost estimates, and develops all documents required to obtain required services.
Prepare and coordinate medical requirements for contract services and other commodities, for the Medical Treatment Network.
Utilize automated system, and other financial, reporting, and management systems for formal contract requests.
