Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel contractposition in Alpena, MI. We are accepting both local and travel candidates.

Pay Rate:Range $2400 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Shift timings: 8 hours or 10 hours; Days, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm or 8.00 am to 6.30 pm (Candidate can choose 8 or 10 hr shifts)
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8 hour or 4 X 10 hour shifts per week, M-F, Some weekend availability may be required
Position Requirements:
Physical Therapist experience in an Outpatient setting: 1+ years - Required
Pediatric experience - Preferred
Prior Travel Nursing experience – Preferred
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
PT License for State of MI - Required
BLS Certifications from AHA- Required
Job Description:
Assesses patients for physical therapy needs.
Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatmentprograms for patients to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disabilityfollowing disease, injury or loss of body part.
Obtains appropriate physician orders, sets measurable goals, andmonitors progress toward those goals.
Administers physical therapy treatments to patients.
Assigns follow-up tasks to the PTA and supervises the implementation ofthe treatment plan.
Provides ongoing PTA supervision.
Provides education and support to patients and families.
Maintains and completes accurate documentation and reports for allassigned patients.
Communicates patient treatment plans and progress to the referringphysician.
Communicates with other health care team members to keep themupdated.
Ability to continuously stand and sit (90% of the time). Potentiallyexposed to infectious diseases. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Abilityto lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
Must provide full "fit for duty" physical if extended offer.
