Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive. This company offers comprehensive benefits, high visibility, and a great work-life balance. This position is onsite.
The salary for this job is $110K - $140K.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide financial support and guidance to production and department leaders to drive business decisions
Calculate and maintain cost standards for production and inventory
Analyze production and forecast variances, communicate results, and recommend actions to management
Lead plant budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting in partnership with Finance and Accounting teams
Support Plant Management with labor planning and capital project financial justifications
Align plant productivity with financial targets and implement cost and working capital optimization programs
Maintain internal controls and accounting processes to ensure US GAAP compliance and reporting integrity
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting or finance experience in manufacturing or public accounting with a manufacturing client base
Strong knowledge of standard costing, budgeting, and forecasting
Proficiency in financial statement analysis and projections
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint);
Oracle experience a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
