Role Overview
Apply commercial contracting expertise to help train next generation AI systems through high quality, real world legal input. This confidential remote engagement focuses on reviewing, revising, and explaining commercial agreements using established policies and playbooks. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Review and redline commercial agreements, including master services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, data processing agreements, and similar documents.
Identify key issues in contract drafts, determine applicable company positions, and assess acceptable fallback outcomes.
Write clear, well reasoned explanations for each redline or revision.
Apply contract drafting, negotiation, and technology transactions knowledge to real world legal documents.
Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistent standards and interpretations.
Maintain strong attention to detail and high standards for legal writing and contract review.
Work independently in a remote, deadline driven project environment.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar admission in a United States jurisdiction.
At least 4 years of transactional experience at a law firm or as in house counsel, focused on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
Experience with contract drafting, contract negotiation, contract redlining, and technology transactions.
Deep knowledge of commonly negotiated commercial terms, including limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection.
Ability to turn complex legal concepts into clear, actionable written analysis.
Sound judgment and a high degree of accuracy in contract review and interpretation.
Technology transactions expertise is strongly preferred.
Adaptability and motivation to contribute to an innovative, confidential legal project.
Work Terms
Independent contractor engagement.
Remote role, open to candidates based in the United States.

Compensation
$90 to $110 per hour.
