Job description
As a Control Desk Coordinator RN on the PM shift at MedStar Health, you will coordinate patient flow, communications, and clinical support activities for a busy hospital unit. You’ll manage admissions, transfers, and discharges; serve as the central hub for calls, alarms, and provider communication; and support charge nurses with staffing and bed management. You will use your RN expertise to prioritize patient needs, uphold safety and quality standards, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team in a mission-driven, patient-first environment focused on community care and continuous learning.
