Job Title: Control Room Operator | Req ID: 17147 | HR Contact: This position reports directly to the Process & Quality Area Manager. The primary objective of this position is be trained in control room efficiency of the Control Room Operator classification. Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE. developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment Responsible for management of material flow and quality. Ensure that his team is performing the equipment checklists. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Education: High school diploma or equivalent or years of equivalent experience Required Work Experience: 3 years' minimum experience working in a control room operation at a manufacturing plant. Preferred Work Experience: Cement manufacturing is preferred but no required. Willingness to work various shifts Knowledge of the cement manufacturing process and equipment a plus. Strong computer skills. Must be willing to learn operating parameters of equipment. Willingness to pursue additional training to prepare for future advancement. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
