Job description
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Responsibilities
Oversee inventory accounting, physical inventories, cycle count programs, inventory reserves, and reconciliation processes.
Manage standard costing, job costing, labor absorption, overhead allocation, and cost variance analysis.
Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to improve costing accuracy and financial visibility.
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience.
At least three years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
Manufacturing, industrial, or distribution accounting experience.
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
