Job description
FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Controller for a great client. This rapidly growing company is well-known for the design and fabrication of high-quality products.
So, what will you be doing as Controller?
-Develop, test, and refine cost accounting processes for materials, labor, and overhead
-Perform analysis of WIP and production activity to identify discrepancies and variances
-Investigate cost drivers and support improved visibility to cost drivers and profitability
-Partner with Operations to understand real-world processes and align appropriate costing approaches
-Perform monthly close activities (journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals)
What you will need to be successful:
-BS in Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field
-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
-Hands-on experience with ERP and Accounting software packages
-Advanced database skills (Excel)
-Proven ability to create and implement process
Things considered a plus:
-Experience in a manufacturing environment (fabrication)
-NetSuite
