Controller

This role is on-site in West Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, expense reporting, and general ledger activities.
Support monthly close processes, reconciliations, budgeting efforts, and variance analysis to deliver accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and present financial insights and performance updates to leadership.
Coordinate annual audit activities, tax-related processes, and other compliance requirements.
Serve as a collaborative partner across finance, HR, and operations while helping strengthen and scale financial processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting or finance experience; 8–12 years of experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and analytical accounting practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently present financial information to leadership and investors.
Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information and sensitive matters.
Preferred Skills
CPA/CFA credentials.
Experience with PE-backed companies, manufacturing accounting (including inventory and cost accounting), and/or high-growth or start-up environments is highly valued.
Experience in investment banking, private equity, or public accounting environments. xhqgsiq
Salary: $105K-$115K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
