Job Title: Controls Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Electrician who is skilled in panel assembly, mechanical subassemblies, and the installation of housings or cabinets, electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components. This role involves positioning and connecting wiring harnesses, cables, and lead wires, terminating wiring and components, and attaching and fastening terminal lugs, connector pins, and other devices to wires. Additional tasks include drilling, tapping, crimping, and soldering.
Responsibilities
Assemble panels and mechanical subassemblies.
Install housings, cabinets, electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.
Position and connect wiring harnesses, cable, and lead wires.
Terminate wiring and components.
Attach and fasten terminal lugs, connector pins, and other devices.
Perform drilling, tapping, crimping, and soldering tasks.
Follow verbal and written instructions to perform electrical and mechanical tasks using fabrication drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and wire lists.
Complete detailed and accurate as-built and quality control documentation.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and assembly.
Experience with control systems.
Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Four years of experience in the electrical industry.
Current and valid United States driver's license and reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with wiring and repair.
Ability to work under direct supervision using fabrication drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and wire lists.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, well-lit, and clean environment. The current schedule is Monday to Friday, 6am to 4:30pm, with a normal schedule of Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm due to current demands.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
