Qualifications
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, and Fanuc robots is required (minimum 3 years). Ability to travel is also required.
Project Details
Candidates should expect 40 hrs. a week at start of project. Travel to Moline, Illinois for implementation, which can last 4-5 weeks with 2 weeks working and every other weekend home. During implementation can work up to 50 hrs. per week.
Skills
Allen Bradley and Fanuc are a must and candidates MUST be able to write PLC code from start to finish in addition to troubleshoot and debug.
Servo Motors and AB Panel View experience is not required but would be welcomed skills. Ignition based HMI experience would be much appreciated as well.
Good reporting skills are necessary as you'll be expected to generate reports daily for projects.
Duties
Implement and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment.
Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.
Perform machine power up, debug and, programming.
Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approach.
