Controls Engineer
Responsibilities
Communicatingwithprojectteamtorefineprojectscopeandrequirements.
Definingsoftware/hardwarearchitecturerequirements.
Developingdetailedfunctionaldesignspecifications.
Configuring, programmingDCS,OPC,PLC,andSCADAcomponents.
Reviewingcontrolpanelwiringdiagrams.
Performfactoryacceptancetestingofhardwareandsoftwarea plus.
Plantcommissioningsupport,pipingandflowsheetchecking,performancetests,troubleshooting, validation,andplantstart‑ upwhich might includestraveltodomesticandinternationallocations
Qualifications
Desiredexperiencewouldbeinnewplantengineeringwithanemphasisonplantoperations,startups,andsafety.
Experienceinairseparation,specialtygases,orpetrochemicalindustriesisaplus.
WorkingexperiencewithSiemensPCS7System (a plus).
WinCC or Siemens
TIA Portal
ExperiencewithET200SPHAhardware,andProfinetisaplus.
ExperiencewithEmersonDeltaV,RockwellAutomation,Yokogawa,ABB,orHoneywellaplus.
SkilledinDCS,PLC,andHMIprogramming
ExperienceinterfacingvariouscontrolsystemstoOPCServerapplicationsandcommunicationto othercontrolsystemsviaOPC.KnowledgeofgeneralpurposeOPCServerapplicationsfrom MatrikonorOSIPIisa plus.
Engineering Degree a plus
Hasspecifiedandorderedcontrolsystemcomponents..
Travelmayberequired,bothdomesticandinternational.
