Cook - Job Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Ensure all equipment is used safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
Manage portion sizes and presentation to ensure consistency.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and new team members.
Handle and store food products in compliance with food safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Cook - Job Requirements
Proven experience as a cook or relevant role
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
Familiarity with industry best practices
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
