Job Duties & Functions
Culinary Craftsman: Prepare and supervise food items with precision, ensuring every dish meets high standards of quality, portioning, and presentation.
Kitchen Captain: Lead and assist kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and consistently deliver high-quality food and service.
Solution Strategist: Anticipate challenges and resolve issues proactively to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
Clear Communicator: Share information effectively and address concerns from co-workers and guests with professionalism and clarity.
Organization Operator: Keep the kitchen spotless and well-organized, always meeting sanitation and safety standards.
Proactive Performer: Take initiative by anticipating needs and acting before issues arise, keeping service seamless.
Timekeeper of Taste: Manage time wisely to ensure food preparation and service are prompt and on point.
Education & Experience
At least 1 years of experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
Food Handlers Certification required. (must comply with State requirements)
Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action
A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions
