Responsive RecruiterAs a Cook at Guiding Hands, you'll help prepare meals for our little ones. As a support staff, you will tend to children's needs as they arise. You will cover teacher's classes as the teacher has not arrived for the day, has left for the day or is on lunch break.Provides a safe and compassionate environment while parents meet their financial responsibilities. Shows and teaches God's love for all. Teaches social and emotional skills to all children to aid them in self-regulation.Monday thru Friday; no weekends. Paid holidays. Paid days off. Discounted childcare.Prepare delicious, healthy menu items and deliver to classroom-based on snack and lunch schedule. Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment per procedure and childcare licensing requirements. Maintains the inventory of food items and prepares grocery list for ordering. Works with the teacher and leadership teams by communicating and contributing information on a continuous basis. Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis. Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards. Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.Previous experience in a preschool environment. Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality. Shows initiative; strong work ethic. High school diploma.Compensation: $13.00 - $18.00 per hourAt Guiding Hands Christian Academy and Childcare, it is important that each person that enters our doors are shown God's love.
