nCoordinator BU Controlling - Decatur, IL

nThis is an non-exempt level position.

nPosition Summary:

nCoordinators at ADM have proven ability to execute a variety of general accounting support tasks, including verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records, updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable, inventory), and compiling data to prepare a variety of reports. Clerks have no direct supervisory responsibilities. The coordinator in this position will be mainly responsible for filing tonnage tax returns.

nnnFile Tonnage tax returns and Miscellaneous Business License/Returns

nnSpecial projects as assigned by manager

n

nnUtilize ADM systems effectively and efficiently to accomplish assigned tasks

n

n nRequired Skills:

nnnDemonstrates good judgment, poise, and maturity in interactions with others

n

nnDoes whatever can to help the team when there is a sudden spike in the workload

n

nnShares resources and otherwise serves as an active, helpful team player

n

nnKeeps others informed and up to date about the progress and status of work

n

nnIs open to feedback and suggestions and is not defensive when receiving feedback from others

nnListens carefully to understand what others are trying to say and is receptive to contrary or different points of view

nnMonitors progress towards goals and shares with the manager any challenges expected in completing assigned tasks

nnDouble-checks the work for mistakes

n nEducation Requirements:

nnnHigh School diploma required

n

nnCollege classes (specifically accounting), a plus

n

n nRequired Experience:

nnn2-3 years of accounting/reconciliation experience a plus

n

nnProficient using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word

n

nBase pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

nIf hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

nThe pay range for this position is expected to be between:

n$34,900.00 - $65,500.00
