Service AdvisorAs a Service Advisor with the Preston Automotive Group, you'll be working in our service department to provide a superior customer experience to all of our guests. This position acts as the go-between for Technicians and customers. The Dealership and customer will look to you to explain the Technician's recommendations and suggest necessary maintenance and repair needs to keep the vehicle safe. You are empowered to take care of the customer and have an active role in the service lane.Minimum 1+ years experience requiredRegardless of your experience, there are specific qualities that all service advisors must share.Great relationship personFantastic communication skillsAn outward desire to help othersIncredible attention to detailFollows directionsTrue to word (following through on all commitments)Focus always on the customerAlways finishes projectsGreat production managerGreat salespersonSmiles even in the worst situationsThrives in a structured and process driven environmentAlways sell the value of the service or repairPerforms incredible active deliveriesWhat to expect in this role:Review your appointments – some may be set by a BDC representative or dealership website.Greet and focus on customers when they arrive.Perform a vehicle walk-around and inspect every vehicle.Provide an estimate of the length of time the service visit will take.Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle via their preferred communication platform.Advise customer of recommended maintenance or repair work needed to keep their vehicle safe.Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates.Become an expert on product knowledge to assist with customer questions.Meet or exceed targeted sales goals.Follow up with customers post visit to ensure we met their expectations.SIGN ON BONUS FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!!!What are the requirements for this job?Minimum 1+ years experience requiredAbility to provide an exceptional customer experienceDrive to achieve personal goalsAttention to detailCommunication and organizational skillsConstant follow up before and after the service visitValid driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent
