Lewis Rice LLC, a prominent downtown St. Louis law firm, is seeking a mid-to-senior level attorney to join our Pension & Employee Benefits Practice Group. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with significant experience advising employers, plan sponsors, and organizations on sophisticated employee benefits and health & welfare plan matters.

Ideal Background
5+ years of employee benefits, executive compensation, or ERISA experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
Experience advising clients on health & welfare benefit plans and related compliance matters
Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, the ACA, and related legal compliance
Experience counseling employers and plan sponsors regarding ERISA compliance, employee benefits administration, plan design, and regulatory requirements
Experience reviewing and drafting plan documents, summary plan descriptions, employee communications, and related benefits documentation
Experience supporting the employee benefits aspects of M&A work and other corporate transactions
Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to independently manage sophisticated advisory matters while maintaining significant client interaction
