Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Partner level Corporate Attorney with over five years of corporate and transactional experience to join their Corporate Practice Group in Syracuse, NY.
Duties
Handle mergers and acquisitions and formation of business organizations.
Advise on corporate governance matters.
Draft and negotiate corporate documents, including operating and shareholder agreements.
Manage commercial contracts and bank financing.
Provide general business advice and counseling.
Requirements
Minimum of five years of corporate/transactional experience.
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating corporate documents.
Experience with M&A and corporate governance.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in New York State.
Skills
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
