Corporate Banking Senior Relationship ManagerOur client is one of the sixth largest banks in North America by branches, offers a full range of financial products and services to over 27.5 million customers worldwide through several key business lines. They are looking for a Corporate Banking Senior Relationship Manager that will proactively execute integrated sales, service and relationship strategies to support growth and retention of corporate business customers.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains an established and extensive external network which includes centers of influence, diverse industry segments, community leaders, regulators and senior business contactsSources large corporate prospects and develops new customer relationshipsHandles larger and the most complex credits and loans and more substantial corporate clients, while ensuring ongoing profitability and complete conformity with credit termsOversees the closing of deals across all productsOversees and ensures safe and sound underwriting/creditLeads the formulation and implementation of long and short-term strategic plans and objectives to increase market share/penetration and maximize opportunities for growth throughout the marketplaceDevelops and implements marketing plans for clients with expanding businessesProvides credit, deposit and other banking services in conjunction with client management activities containing high levels of complexity and involving large amounts of moneyEducation and RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience10+ years of related experienceExpert at structuring deals to balance risk and rewardStrong ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulationsStrong written communication skills including demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondenceSuperior verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, the general public and professional peersIn-depth understanding of business and banking terminologyProven ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to business related situationsIn-depth understanding of accounting, including financial statement and credit analysis skillsProven ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesSuperior negotiation skillsSuperior relationship management and business development/sales skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIn-depth knowledge of credit and credit qualityProven ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationshipsProven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skillsSuperior organizational skills
